Hi, I'm Louise
I’m a counsellor living in Tarndanya /Adelaide.
I provide a kind, supportive and understanding place for you to explore and work through whatever's holding you back from living the life you want.
I have a particular interest in working with people who are:
childless, but not-by-choice
experiencing issues that may be related to perimenopause or menopause
living with anxiety and depression
moving through a life transition – entering or leaving a relationship, empty nesters, changing careers, leaving a job, experiencing health issues and more
dealing with addiction – your own or someone else's.
How I work
My approach is trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and person-centred. You decide what you want to get out of therapy, and I will build a trusting relationship where I can help you to:
take better care of yourself
process trauma, grief and childhood issues
let go of thinking or behaviour that no longer works for you
work through a short-term issue that’s bothering you
make choices that lead toward a more authentic, meaningful life
or whatever it is you decide is important to you.
Where I work - online or in-person
I offer online telehealth sessions through video conference or on the phone. All you need is a reliable internet or phone connection, and a private space to talk.
I also offer in-person sessions in North Adelaide, by arrangement.
My fees
$130 for a 50-minute session. I offer discounts for people with concession cards or on low wages. Talk to me if this is you.
My credentials
I’m a registered counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) – Reg. Certified Practicing 32192.
I hold a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from ACAP University College. I’m currently completing a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (also at ACAP).
As someone who has been through therapy myself, I understand the experience of being a client and how important it is to be listened to, understood and respected.
I practice in a way that is neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I am committed to my professional and personal development to give you the best possible care. I work with a supervisor, am a member of a peer supervision group of health professionals who work in the alcohol and drug sector. I regularly undergo additional training to ensure my skills and knowledge are up to date.

Kind. Caring. Compassionate.
I acknowledge the traditional owners throughout South Australia and pay respect to the custodians of the land on which I live. I respect their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.
I pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and I acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people from all over Australia.
